Victoria Pezzo

Victoria Pezzo is a Regional Program Development Advisor for the Child and Family Services Reform and Transformation directorate at Indigenous Services Canada. Victoria implements and interprets the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal Orders to reduce the number of Indigenous children in the welfare system and to support the safety and well-being of First Nations children and families. 

Previously, Victoria has held roles in the non-profit sector as Executive Director at Native Women’s Resource Centre of Toronto and in Indigenous nationhood as an elected Deputy Chief for Missanabie Cree First Nation. Since joining IPAC Toronto Region Board of Directors in 2015, Victoria continues to pursue her passion in advancing excellence in public service. 

Victoria holds a master’s degree in Public Policy, Administration and Law from York University.
